Since I am getting bad fuel economy anyways this will surely give me another 20mpgs to my gas mileage and probably add another 100hp right...

Yes please install kit & report back. I mean how bad can it be? Kawasaki hasn't seen fit to change the 250 since 1986, this MUST be a great way to improve their dated design.............that still manages to sell new by the truck loads & still demands a premium price when sold used. JC

Erm...

- That kit claims to take the CCs up to 265. On what planet does that equal +100 hp?

- And on that same other planet, does a larger engine increase your MPG by around 30%?

Don't forget that everyone should do it, in fact, a 250 making 100hp from an extra teeny bore? Heck, kawasaki, yamaha and all other companies should just flat out stop making other bikes if that's the case, why bother, that darn little 250 with the new pistons makes over 100hp OMG BBQ! In this case, I should go put new pistons in my escort with a barely slightly larger compression ratio so i get 300mpg and 800hp. Yep, that should do it, just the pistons.

But on a more serious note, if he/she wants to try it, go for it... Wouldn't you be boring it till it was paper thin?

I'm guessing Jrock was being a mite sarcastic, but if you guys look at who is selling these , than you may not be talking such trash. Check out http://www.holeshot.com/. Dale Walker is a serious motorcycle builder/tuner from way back. Whether or not this is really him selling this stuff , I don't know. If it is him, than this stuff is good stuff. Oh yeah, the compression is slightly LOWER than stock...................................Blake SsC
