Re: 100,000 Mile Road Test of a 1988 Kawasaki 250 Ninja - Part One

Many thanks for that very kind invitation. Unfortunately, although retired I do have countless obligations and a tight schedule. I do hop on my bike and get a ride in almost every nice day that God sends year-around, but it is impossible for me to tell when or to ride with anybody as a rule.

I do live in Chesapeake and I usually take just a standard 65-mile ride to enjoy the fresh air and the bike, down US 17 through the Dismal Swamp into NC and back. Pleasant scenery and not too much traffic. I use I-64 to get there but traffic is building up so much there you have to be very, very careful. We always have 10-25% of mentally-ill people in the general public, you know, and you see them driving all the time! Good luck and give me a wave if you see me on 17.
