Gordon, I just put a couple of drops of oil in the clutch cable, light oil or engine oil, once in a while. I do the same thing in the throttle cables once in a blue moon when I take the twist grip apart. These are nylon lined so I don't think they need much lubrication, but it can't hurt. I also lube the end of the clutch cable in the clutch lever once in a while too since if that dried out it might break the end off the cable.

I have never put any grease in the wheel bearings, so they have made all this mileage with the assembly lubricant from the factory.
