All new users, please read this before posting

The Ninja 250 board is an excellent resource for information on the Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycle. Before you post a question, please look at the following resources:

* The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions list) -- many many questions are answered here, and it's an excellent learning resource. This is linked at the top of all index pages, so it's easy to find.

* Frequently Discussed Topics -- this is where we put discussions that come up all the time. It's also an excellent source of information, but it's not as well organized or edited as the FAQ. This is linked from the FAQ and a few other places, it's not as easy to find.

* Search -- much like Google, you can search the contents of the board. Just try putting in the keywords to your question (like "tire" or "carburetor" or "jacket" or whatever you've got), and chances are excellent you'll find what you're looking for. This is linked at the top of all index pages as well, and is very easy to find.

If you've gone through these three resources and you still don't have an answer to your question, please post it to the board. Hopefully someone will have a good answer for you. You don't need to be a member to post. The only thing you need membership for is to get a profile.

If you do find yourself needing to post, please review The Guide to Good Posts for information on how to make your post as good as possible. The better your post, the more likely you'll get a speedy and useful answer.

Note that if you're posting to say hello, we don't require you to read the FAQ first. Wink We always welcome greetings and introductions.

If you don't utilize the resources we've made available (and we can tell, oh yes), chances are excellent that one of the regulars will make fun of you or might even just delete your message. If this happens, it's probably not a personal attack. We get a lot of new users here, and a lot of them don't bother helping themselves at all, they just expect a quick answer.

Unfortunately, that's not how it works. We're all volunteers here. We're not here to serve you (although we're usually happy to work with you). If you contribute some effort, we'll really appreciate it, and everyone will be happier.

A hint on how to keep track of messages better: click on the link that says "thread by modified" near the top. That'll make the board show you messages as they get replies, instead of based on when they were posted. It's easier to keep up with discussions that way.

Thanks, and come on in!
