What are the max load ratings on the s-hooks and chains?

I ask because I'd be concerned about the possibility of one snapping and getting the snow chain tangled with the drive chain while at speed. That would probably be an experience.

Guessing you don't have many plates in the roads in your area? Braking over a steel road plate with chains on seems like playing russian roulette (with more chambers, at least), since you need to really hope your traction point isn't the chain when you start to brake.
