Track Riding and Getting Knee Down        

First - Don't care about dragging knee for "show"

Mainly, I would like to use it as my lean angle indicator. However, I just got back from the track and as evidence of poor body position, I found myself dragging the feeler pegs and my toe-sliders whenever i took the sharper corners with speed. First step now is to remove the feeler pegs.

Quick question: Can one safely touch a knee down with a classic ninja250 that has the stock rearsets and centerstand still on the bike? I would like to increase my lean angle, but am afraid of dragging either the center stand or the relatively low-position stock rearsets. That would be...... catastrophic?
