Since installing a 44 in the rear to go with the 15 front        

I routinely get into the mid to high 60's with a mix of riding that's about 75% highway at 70-75 indicated and in town speeds typically in the 30's and 40's. I've not changed my riding style since changing sprocket ratios, and I've run the same size Kenda tires front and rear since nearly new (at 35.5K now, 33.5K mine). I've gotten as high as 82, but that was likely a pump calibration error. When I went on my long trip a few weeks ago I spent 90% of my time at 85 indicated and my mileage dropped into the high 50's to very low 60's. That wasn't unexpected, and was still better than the high 40's to low 50's I did on the same exact trip last year with saddle bags and stock rear 45T.

All in all I'm quite satisfied with the mileage, and in fuel savings alone this bike paid for itself and all my initial gear purchases back in early spring. Smile
