A little bit at a time...

I'm now going to outpatient PT two times a week, and things are improving incrementally. I've recovered quite a bit of passive range of motion on the shoulder, and just beginning to get some active motion.

My ortho isn't real happy with the original repair to my humerus, but says we'll wait to see what can be achieved with therapy. If the bone knits sufficiently, and the shoulder functions reasonably, I might not need more surgery (in the short term, at least). Otherwise, I might have to get worked on again. Hopefully that can wait until I can walk; having two limbs out of commission sucks.
