So I decided to ride across the country.

And boy does my ass hurt.
I'm a relatively new rider, only had about 1.5 months and 3k miles under my belt before I decided to do this.

I started in Sneads Ferry, NC (about 2 minutes away from the atlantic) and I ended up in Yelm, WA (about an hour from the pacific, should the unlikely event arise that I want to go to the beach... which I don't).
I'm not entirely sure of the exact route we took (I rode behind my mom, who's towing a 4x8 uhaul of our stuff), but it took a solid 5 days and I have some pretty pictures to show for it.
Averaging 8k at 70mph I was getting about 70mpg, conservatively.

Not that much else to report, though. The rockies and appalachians were a blast while we were in them, and montana is really beautiful, for the 50 miles, at least.

also, we went snowboarding in south dakota.
