Being right doesn't mean anything when you're dead.
That being said, I've had my share of "getting payback" so to speak. And yes, some of them were downright stupid, and could have easily played out far differently. The one I'll share is the prick who bumped my back tire. Not too long ago, but not "recently" a guy came up behind me at a red light. In my mirror he seemed to be moving pretty fast, so I pumped my brakes several times. From the way his front end dipped, I can only assume he had not seen me or misjudged his speed. When he finally stopped, I turned to see how close he had come, which turned out to be less than a foot from the rear wheel. I shook my head and turned back to the front. That's when the guy decided to idle forward until his bumper made contact with my rear tire. The short version of the conclusion is that by the time I had put the bike on the side stand and dismounted, he was already in reverse and moving away. As you can see, that easily could have gone in several (less than optimal for me) directions.
