Negligible, Unless        

The gasses produced by the lead acids are usually negligible, yes: UNLESS, the plates fall. If the cells degrade past a certain point, any amount of electrical input created qulte measurable amounts of hydrogen (by far the most dangerous by product of the reactions inside these batteries) and given a poor electrical connection, AND no air movement; could prove for a bad weekend.

That said, again, under normal circumstances, nothing to worry about, and by the time the battery degrades to that point, it wont start an engine of any kind, so your not going to be producing any dangerous fumes ON the bikes.
