From what I am seeing it is going to be a great bike to use to learn how to do "stuff". That said the 88 needs a lot of parts. Everything from the fairing, random nuts and bolts, choke (seems to just not be there) bar ends.. the list goes on.

Here is where the needed intervention comes in. While looking on craigslist for parts I saw a 2005 for sale for $700, and it looked clean. So I went to take look.... it is now sitting in my garage. So far the bike almost looks new! just crazy. The battery is DOA so tomorrow morning I will go pick up another and see if she runs.
