I think, you only need to worry about pistons        

The rest of moving parts are submerged in oil and pump would build up pressure quickly. I would put some oil on the rings/cylinders/pistons while reassembling it, but I guess, you could dump a spoon of oil into the cylinder and turn the engine. Are you sure you didn't change the timing? If not, it should start. I would break the motor in under load though. Start it up, see that it works, then get the rest of the parts and break it in as usual.

[edit] maybe put some oil on cams/valves as well...
