Sat Feb 23, 2008 5:12 pm Great deal on rear seat cowl at Advanced Kawasaki in So. Cal: $78.
Kevin at Advanced Kawasaki in Buena Park, Ca. had a post on another forum that you might be interested in. I didn't notice it here so I am passing on the info. He said if he can get at least 10 people to sign up to buy the rear passenger seat cowl(cover) for the new 250R, he will sell them for $78! You all know that the retail price is $99 so this is a damn good deal.
Also, his name and shop has been mentioned many times on this forum with all comments being very positive. I just finished meeting with him and he is a straight up, no B.S. guy. A real pleasure to do business with.
As mentioned on other threads here, he is selling the new 250R in So. Cal. OTD for MSRP+tax+licence= $3900+change. No extra mark ups at all. A rare deal in So. Cal or anywhere else. Also, while other shops seem to be having trouble getting a single bike in stock, he has been moving a lot of them, and he keeps getting more. He just got 4 more in yesterday(all colors) and although they are probably reserved with deposits, it's worth a call to contact him if you are looking for one in this area.
