Uh, oh. forgot your favorite brat pack director?
John *Hughes*, right?
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000455/
Another curious one. I'll admit liking "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" despite a general distaste for John Candy's work, but OMG I can't imagine sitting through 99% of the movies he's written since then!
Hm. Now that I actually look. Landis has directed a boatload of crap (including Blues Brothers 2000) aside from his few greats. Loved his acting bit in "Into the Night" though. And look! He was in "Death Race 2000" |

Hm, if that's a few miles from Aurora and/or Big Rock, then Me Too! |

Have seen dozens of times since I was very little. Many of the scenes where shot a few miles from where I grew up.

There could be some website in Chicago right now with a post asking "Where in the world are those bins?" |

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, this Ninja 250 plaque,
a half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. |
