You need one that mounts on the sides of the light, not the bottom. Those are for Harley applications. Getting power to the light just involves plugging the pigtail from whatever light assembly you use into the factory wiring harness. They should all use H4 bulbs and connectors. It's quite standard. Turn signals are also just a matter of preference. You can put them on the same supports that hold the headlight, then it's just a matter of hooking them up. Making a streetfighter is a matter of finding what you like and putting it on the bike. It involves a certain amount of experimentation. Don't worry; you're not going to mess that bike up any more than it already is :)
Yeah, I've read through that FAQ and it's helped a lot. I'm just having a hard time finding the right kind of lights. I can find a million of the single mount (Harley) type lights, but I have only seen one of of the side mount ones and it was used on Ebay. I thought maybe I was looking for the wrong setup or something. Just though a specific example might help. :)
Turn Signals
I've got a 2005 Ninja 250 that was wrecked and I picked up on the cheap with a salvaged title. Decided I'd like to make a project bike out of it to learn how to screw around with this stuff and make a Streetfighter out of it.
I've got all the plastic torn off and have the headlight and gauges zip tied to the fork to hold them in place. Would really love some recommendations on 7" round headlights with everything I'll need to go from the factory to the 7". Also could use some advice on turn signals that attach to the front fork.
Thanks all,
Nerrollus
