It came back.
Got a call from the local sheriff. Somebody ran a VIN on my bike. They tracked it down, caught him and recovered the bike.
It came back with no bodywork, no saddle, no fuel tank that I had installed in place of the passenger seat, no trailer hitch, broken headlight and no turn signals or mirrors.
The fellow that stole it got a 3 year sentence and assigned to make $5300 in reparations. I'll probably never see the money, but the bike is back together as a street fighter.
I'm up to 5 bikes. Life is good.

The 300 was stolen a couple of years ago.

Do you still have this bike? Have you done any upgrades for the past few years?
It disappeared one night during Daytona Bike week. It's either gone for parts or some guy in a third world country got a new 'truck'
I'm back on the forum because I picked up a 2003 Ninja 250 over Thanksgiving. I guess I'll have to start a thread on reviving it.

Well, I made a down payment anyway.
I bought a white 2014 ABS. Told them that I would pick it up on April 18. MFI in Woodbridge, VA beat the price at Manassas Honda/Kawasaki by $400. Out the door price at MFI was under $6K, MHK was over $6K. Both of them had a bike in stock.
I also bought an HJC modular helmet, the service manual, Kawaski's Frame sliders and two oil filters.
I haven't found a tank bag, bar risers, or a commo system for the helmet.
My daughter asked if I would teach her to ride, so if she actually goes through with it, I'll keep my 2007 Suzuki GS500. If not, it will be for sale when she goes back to school in the fall.
Would love to see pics of it.

SENA SMH5-FM
I just got a SENA SMH5-FM com device. The SMH10 is more powerful, but the 5 meets my needs. I got the radio version, so I can listen to the ball game while riding on my way home from work.

I don't pick it up until April 17. So Kawasaki's pic are as good as any.
