Would anyone be interested in getting together to do some wrenching over a weekend? Unfortunately I'm not offering a garage/driveway since I don't have one, but we can always find an empty parking lot.
I'd like to do the valves, put on new tire, bleed the brakes and change the oil; I have all the basic tools and can help others with whatever they need.

LMK!

unless you pick a bad weekend, my 2-car garage and tools are available - including the special valve tool for the classic ex250, I also have torque wrenches, I do not have tire irons, my air compressor is only a 12V unit

this in central oakland, Dimond District, a nice area

not available first wee kay, july 9-18, sep 3-13, and a few other odd times

any takers?

i can help-ish
actually, i meant to get input on my throttle cable from some other folks

but... im not available this weekend... next weekend I'll be in seattle...
and so april 24-25 and may 1-2 are open and then may 7 i'm leaving on my cross country ride... ohf i hope my bike is as ready as i think it is Very Happy

also... misha keep in mind that your valves should sit over night before you work on them (at least that's what I remember reading)

if you want a place closer than oakland to you than oakland you should pm altomista - he's pretty helpful and has hosted work days before

no offense to kiwi_outdoors of course Smile

Unfortunately it doesn't look like any of the weekends that work for Emily will work for me.

Kiwi_outdoors - thanks for the offer, I think that'd be great. I'll try to figure out when I can do it, and hopefully we'll get some other members to join to make this more fun?

Anybody interested in doing this? I still haven't got around to doing the maintenance on my bike.
Kiwi_outdoors - are you still game? Anyone else?

I'm out this coming weekend, but either day next weekend (June 19-20) should work.
