 Subject: The Rally: Sizzler | RTE & 8hr Mini-Rally | July 31

I've decided to go ahead and host a combination RTE and eight hour mini-rally in July. Aptly name Sizzler, riders not used to OK in the summertime will quickly learn the origins of the name. The RTE location is Big Daddy's BBQ in Broken Arrow, OK.

RTE and Mini-Rally details can be found here:

Subject: So the RTE isn't actually to a Sizzler?

I hope Big Daddy's does all you can eat. Smile Not sure I'm in on this one, but I'll let you know. Didn't take you long to decide after the riffraff started making noise on TheRally email list. Got some devious bonus point ideas?

If I get my honey-do list closer to completion, I might head east for a week around then. It would make a nice stopover. Then again, I'm not looking to join you on any IBA loops around Broken Arrow. Hopefully that's not what you have in mind, but you being M I have to insert that caveat. Shocked

You wouldn't be required to make IBA distances in his 8 hour rally, and you could see a lot of interesting things, but you might lose what little dignity you have left. Maybe you should just aim for the RTE if you want to stay Department Chair. Smile This picture was about 3 hours into my riding day, and still early morning (for me):

The whole point of these mini-rallies to introduce riders to the rally experience. Most riders will have less than 450 ridden in the eight hour allotted time.

Here was the reason for the bra:

43 / Uplift & double your points

Procure a woman's bra, of adequate size, to wear over your riding gear. For each picture that you take with you, wearing the bra, you will double the points of that bonni.

Note: the following bonni are ineligible for this bonni, out of respect: Akins Cemetery, Highland Cemetery, OKC National Memorial, Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Tiny Chapel, Washita Battlefield.

So, there was no requirement to wear a bra. However, those who did had their points 'lifted' up. Very Happy

There won't be a bra bonni this mini-rally. However, there will be some, ahem, offbeat choices. You can get most riders to succumb to interesting choices when you offer enough points.

Subject: Generous sponsor donations mean free giveaways at the RTE!

For those participating in the mini rally, I've had two sponsors donate items to be given away.

NewEnough: 2 FirstGear riding jackets

Ride Cool: A ride cool vest

I truly appreciate these two vendors for supporting The Rally. I imagine that I'll have a few more to add next week. A lot of vendors are busy at the BMW MOA this weekend.
