Subject: lee parks total control ARC san mateo 4/17

Hey gang,
Lee Parks is having me do an animation based on my riding experiences at his Total Control Advanced Rider Clinic.

I am taking the clinic on april 17th at San Mateo with my momma.

It'd be cool to see some fellow ninjas out there.

Here's a link to the class: http://www.leeparksdesign.com/eshopprod_cat_530-18381_product_1054490.TCARC_San_Mateo_CA_-_041711.htm

I will also be doing the track clinic the following weekend at Willow Springs egyptian dance

Best year ever Very Happy

Subject: Hi Emily. I live in downtown San Mateo, about 2 miles from the class site.

Let me know if you guys need anything while you are here. Sadly, I can't take the class because I don't meet his requirements (1 year of riding or 3,000 miles). Crying...

I have a conference in Houston around that time, but I should be home by then.

Good luck with the class and with your animation!

Subject: Hope to see you while we're in San Mateo

I'm Laura, Emily's mom. I'm really looking forward to Lee's class, I already know he's a great rider and a great teacher, and that I still have a LOT to learn.

I hope we can meet up with you while we're visiting San Mateo. We live in Monterey, not so far away, and we may come up and spend the night before nearby, to make it easier to get to class on time! It will be a long day, but I hope we can find a way to connect with you. You may not know, being new to Ninja250.org, but there's a Golden Rule Rally, and we generally try to take photos with everyone we meet, and submit them for the contest. In fact, Emily won the 2010 Rally, and we'll be celebrating at the Awards Meet-up May 13-15 down in Maricopa (fun event also listed in this Ride Announcements section, in case you'd like to attend!) By the way, I came in 3rd place, just from standing near my daughter in some photos last year!

Subject: GRR? :hmm: Sounds like some kind of elaborate hazing ritual.

The class sounds like a lot of fun, so I'm pretty bummed that I'm not allowed to take it. Apparently, he requires you to have some control before you are allowed to learn TOTAL CONTROL. Thumb down I can understand that, though; I just finally figured out what the foot pedals are for. I had it backwards, the one on the right inflates the tires. Disagree (newbie humor)

I'm sure you guys will be busy, but I'll be happy to meet with you if you end up having time. I've been trying to meet some fellow members around here, but no luck yet. I do get down to Monterey quite a bit, and I've been wanting to do a ride down to Point Lobos, so it would be great to know some fellow riders there.

I've read a bit about the Golden Rule Rally, and it sounds like fun, despite the total absence of cash prizes. I'll be happy to help you guys earn a point. (Is that all I'm worth? REALLY?)
