Subject: How about the next weekend? |
|
| I can't make it to this (plans already this weekend), but I am going to be posting a ride announcement in a couple days to head up to Lake Isabella the next Saturday (May 12th). Think you might be interested? |

| I would be interested if I was a little closer. Isn't Lake Isabella 5 hours from Los Angeles? I've been to Kern county once for white river rafting. |

Round trip it would be about 350 miles for you, depending on where in LA you are - http://g.co/maps/5pjyd
Last time, we left Lancaster at around 10:30, and were back around 4 or 5, so it's not that long of a day, even with another hour at the beginning and end for you.
What's the longest you've done in a day? |

| 350 miles is a medium length ride for me now, but I forget that other people don't always have the same endurance/experience... |

Subject: Best way to do it is build up |
|
If you haven't done many/any long distance days, the best way to do it is build up over time. Say your longest day is 100 miles - next ride go 150 miles, and do that a couple times. Next time go 200, and so on.
If you feel like making the trip, let me know! |
