Managed to get a small meetup at a shop in Lewisville, that was it. I don't know what it is about the DFW area, but getting any kind of social interaction going around here is like pulling teeth.

For me personally, I hardly ride at all during the summer. Not any fun to battle 95+ heat in gear (even with a mesh jacket). I don't commute on the bike since there's too many caged idiots (and plenty of two-wheeled idiots) on the DNT. Free time during this nice weather season is largely spent with the fam.

I am hopeful the weather will be tolerable in Nov so I can ride down to the intl moto show.

Sure i would be down for riding. I just got my bike back in AUG and am looking for fellow Ninja's. PM me for my number but ill check back here every so often. I'll ride pretty much any weather but rain, not used to wet streets just yet.

I still have my 250 and not once has anybody tried emailing me for a ride. I'm in the process now of replacing my fork seals but once those are in I'll be ready to go.
