Subject: Looking for wrecked 300. |
|
I sold all of my classic Ninja 250 stuff to M, so I'm out of the Ninja 250 business.
My next bike will be the Ninja 300.
I like having more than one bike, so in addition to a new 300, I'm in the market for a wreck to repair. Like before, I hope to have both a daily commuter and a touring bike. The new bike will be the commuter, the wreck will be rebuilt as a touring bike.
Is anyone else looking for a wreck? If so, we can keep each other informed about where and in what condition. |

Back in ancient times, had only one bike. We'd put a windscreen and a pair of saddlebags on it to tour the country. Pull all that stuff off and it's a sport bike.
A touring Ninja 300 would have a comfortable saddle, a barn-door windscreen, handle bars adjusted to allow nearly a nearly straight up seating position, a good backrest and my 24 gallon Rubbermaid Action-Packer tail trunk.
It doesn't make sense to cut up a perfectly good stock Ninja to make those kinds of changes. |

I thought the ABS model only came in green. It's been a while since I talked to my dealer, but he was willing to do a body panel swap for me. I like the white one, but yours looks very nice.
