Subject: Fabrication-Free Aftermarket Gauges? Will These Work?

I'd rather not spend the money on digital gauges. I can't fabricate my own mounting system and I want to replace the gauges for my fighter project. Will this fit somewhere, or can someone recommend currently available gauges that will mount easily? The links on the streetfighter project wiki are outdated.

 Subject: Check the drive ratio

It's cable-driven, so you'll have to be sure the drive ratio is the same as the stock speedo. You can get the same speedo (and many others) from Mike's XS, and he'll answer your questions better than JC Whitney.

I used a Trail Tech Vapor, which is magentically-driven and can be adjusted, so it's perfectly accurate.

 Subject: I have that speedometer

Or at least the same one with the black dial. Got it from Mike's XS. The 2:1 drive ratio is the closest you will find on an aftermarket mechanical speedometer. It will read about 6% fast. You will need to use two diodes to wire up the yellow LED for the turn signal. The blue LED for the high-beams is crazy bright -- I'm going to see if I can wire in a series resistor or something now that it's getting dark out.

I'm still trying to find a tachometer that matches and also doesn't stop at 6K RPM. The only electric ones I can find that go up to 12K are a different size and font, which would bother me.
