Washed the bike yesterday. While on the Sunday ride, we found a bike wash near Criglersville, VA.

I followed the yellow 'Wing through, so you'll have to watch that one get washed first.

I also got 62mpg yesterday. I normally get better mileage while riding with these guys, but this was better than normal. I've been getting mid to upper 50s for mpg. I like the 15t front sprocket. I've also got saddle bag mounts and am working on a fuel cell mount. Russell Saddles has mine scheduled with a July 1 build date.

Nice bike wash ... not sure I would have gone through it. Pretty county though.

Going across the first time we went a lot slower. I didn't splash more than a foot or so of water. On the return trip, I tried to raise as much water as I could. A little ford like that is a great confidence builder. This one even has a concrete bottom, so it's easier than riding through a water-filled pothole. It has nicely sloped sides, you can see the bottom and know traction is good.

Haven't talked with you in a while.
I've got about 12000 miles on mine. Don't know for sure how many, it fell over in a rainstorm in August and got a new instrument cluster. Rain got in from the side and everything went blank. Some of it came back, but not the clock or speedo. I bought a cluster on-line and installed it. Lost about 10,000 miles and the ABS light. Other than that everything is back to normal.

I've got the fuel tank, a nylon bag and a platform for the laptop that I can swap out with the rear seat. See picture below. Making the platform was easy, it's a flat piece of steel with a 1" square tube and a 3/8" bolt attached. The back of the steel is notched with 4 cuts that make two fingers that are bent down to mate with the notches in back, the tubing holds the weight and the bolt gets notched to lock it in place. Everything pops on and off with the key, so I can change it in just a few seconds.

Indeed, that's an awesome-looking bike! May I ask though, what specific motorcycle exhaust are those?
