It's easier now that there's no competition. The Golden Rule Rally has languished since about 2011 and I'm going to jump-start it in my own lame way. I'm gonna ride the hell out of my 2004 Ninja 250.

I'm headed east from Los Angeles in April 2015, final destination central Alabama. I'm going to hug the border on the way east (there are some mighty big obstacles to hugging the border along the way.) The return route west is yet to be determined.

If you are anywhere NEAR the border (as in, within 100 miles; maybe 200 miles in Texas) ping me and I will do my best to arrange a meetup.

I'm bringing my work computer with me and I plan to work a few hours every morning, then hit the road. Time will tell how effective that strategy will be. My other main goal: I will never get on a freeway, anywhere, the entire route.

I'd love to join you but I'm working out of the country most of this year. so my poor ninjas are being neglected. With the exception of the IBR they would see much time on the road.
