First thing I would suggest is to NOT buy a brand new bike of any kind. Plenty of used bikes out there, and as a new rider whatever he gets will most likely get scuffed-up. Learn on something less than perfect, and save your money for an eventual upgrade if you decide to continue riding - some new riders don't.

Ninja 250s or 300s are a good choice if he likes something sporty, as opposed to a cruiser.

Another "Don't", IMO, is financing a bike. Save your money and get what you can afford, saving money for a complete set of decent gear and insurance.

When buying a new bike, never buy the Extended Warranty or Maintenance Agreement. Learn to do what's needed. You need to learn to fix things and keep the cycle maintained properly - that's your job as a cycle rider. It's not a car.

I'd also suggest some type of formal instruction like the MSF Basic Rider Course. There's really no time to learn to operate a motorcycle properly on the street - you really need to know it pretty well before venturing out into traffic.

Subject: My brother Planning to buy a new Bike

Which bike is suitable for my younger brother? His height is 5'2 and he is planning to buy a bike.

We check out some bikes online but still, he is confused.

Plz, share your suggestions.
