It feels like a ghost town. And it makes me sad to see the relative lack of activity. I came in when this place was bustling back in late 2006, and I owe a LOT to the site and several of the members here. Even the ones with whom I had disagreements, because that's the way this place is, or at least was.

Facebook took away a lot of the social aspect of this site, and just the fact that the newest of the F bikes is now 12 years old had an effect on our readership. There was never much interest, or many posters, for the J bikes. And I like to think that a lot of people just read the FAQ and didn't need to post up a lot of possible questions, keeping the technical forum traffic down Smile

Also, a lot or the regulars found something else to do.

This site is actually a second instance on 250rc
Now, most(all) of the old timers moved on, and the the rest of the posters prefer ninjette site. I keep the lights on for now, but everything gets old and dies eventually.

Still have my Gixer and the KLX250SF. Riding on the weekends, doing well.

Posting some activity while in quarantine. I've left the riding community for a few years here now, but I can't stay away. I've been talking with my family and it's time to get a new mount. I've ridden a lot different bikes since starting with my old EX250 back in 2006, but that bike has always had a special place in my heart, and I've always regretted giving her up. I'm likely going to pick up one of the new 400s once we're allowed back in public. Any love for the new model here? What's the general thoughts from this community?

Oh, come on! It's not that old. I mean, the bike may no longer be in production, but the parts (such as its compatible tires) still are. From what I've heard, 4WheelOnline offers various compatible tires from brands such as Dunlop and Cheng Shin.

This is, of course, sad, buddy, but in our time the forums have receded into the background. Now everything is in messengers. They do not understand the comfort that was present in those days.

There are a couple of other small bike forums that have more traffic.
