Re: Selling Question

Sorry to say, but most people probably don't care about those warranties. If you are going to ask more than someone can buy a bike for brand new, then you'll never sell it. You might could convince someone to pay you more for the extra warranty but I doubt it. Why did you buy the extended warranty to start with? Have you never heard that extended warranties are rip offs? There is a famous financial advisor in GA (Clark Howard, you may have heard of him) and he is a huge advocate against extended warranties saying that its just another way to steal more of your money by the coporations. Your rims will not wear out in 4 years, depending on how much you ride, you might need 2 sets of new tires in 4 years, theft insurance you can get from an insurance agency, and if anything mechanical on the bike is going to give you problems it will most likely occur within that 1 year period, if you make it through 1 year then it should last the next 4 without problems that are covered under warranty, and even if something does go wrong, most shops will fight you to the bitter end that your warranty doesn't cover whatever the problem is.
