Spark advance does not give you more power. It just tunes the powerband. More advance will give you a little more top end but less low end. Great for racing, not so great on the street. If you think it's ok to lose 10% on the bottom to gain 10% on the top, go for it. But it isn't free power. And remember, 10% on a ninja 250 is only 2 HP.
