2002 ninja price

I just got back from a dealer and found a 2002 250 for $2700. It has 256 miles on it and was used at a local technical college for a msf course. Do you think that I should pass, due to the fact that it was used for this, or should I jump on this deal so I can finally have a bike. It's also still under warranty, and hopefully the break-in would not be so painful being there's already some miles on it. Any input is greatly appreciated.
