I was talking with someone about a future bike for me, and had almost decided on the honda VFR. Nice looking, and bigger which would mean more comfort on long trips, maybe. My butt was screaming after a 400 mile day on sunday, and the Honda sport touring association rally is here in town this week so I got to oogle some really nice bikes. Most common was the VFR. But, being that I tower at around 5'3" and 110 pounds, soaking wet with pockets full of rocks, the VFR is likely waaaayyy to big for me.
So, someone mentioned the VFR 400, which is very popular in the UK. I dug up some pictures of it on the net, and it is an absolutely gorgeous bike. A little more power than the 250, (not that I need it), but still no good for long distance riding. But, if I could get my hands on one of these bikes, I would love to have one. I just have no idea how to go about importing one of these, and it would probably just be too much trouble, and not worth the hassle and extra costs associated with it.
Ah, dilemmas. I'll just keep my old, ugly, ratty 250 that I love so much. I was told the other day that I'm about an inch away from scraping pegs in the corners. Don't know why, but that made me happy.

Let us know what you find out about importing. I'm curious to know how it works.
