| Watch out for Progressive Insurance !! |
Through my agent, I signed up for 1 year of insurance with Progressive for $267. Two weeks later I get a letter stating that my policy had been revised and it would now be $687. All the correct info had been provided to them at the beginning, so there should have been no revision. I immediately cancelled them and told them to refund my money. I expected to be charged about $58 for the approx. 3 weeks that I had them. They recently sent me a letter stating that I would be getting the $167 refund soon. WHAT??? They want to charge me $100 for being with them just over 3 weeks. That works out to over $1200 year! What a scam!!
