| Is this a reasonable price for a used bike? |
Hi,
I am a BC resident and is trying to get a used ninja. After four months of searching in the local ads without success (in Buy&Sell, CAN$4500 for a 8 year-old ninja250), I decide to look across the border.
There is an ad in cycletrader.com listed a red 1998 ninja 250 (2100 miles) for US$1900/CAN$2600. Is it a good deal? The bike is located near Seattle, WA.
I am taking the motorcycle skills course at the end of August. If it is a good deal then I will take a bus or a train to Seattle to buy the bike. Lets assume that I bought the bike and got it register at the border, do you think they let me ride the bike home to Richmond, BC? Thanks.
