Top speed was in 5th gear, not 6th.

With 15/45 gearing, I tried to drop down to 5th when the speed dropped to 68 and 4th when the speed got down to 65. Then the bike would accelerate and I shifted to 5th at 70 and 6th at 73. Of course, like I mentioned to Duke, I'd sometimes forget to shift up. Then the bike would climb to about 13K and stay there.

You think paint is worth 2 mph? If I'd thought it was that much, I'd have painted it different.
