Thanks Wes, now I feel like one of the astonishingly ill-informed yet highly opinionated people I was berating! ;-)
Optimax is an interesting product in terms of the strength of customer opinion - some credit it with improving their fuel economy by 20%, others suggest that it destroyed their engine.
Do oil companies publish information on the chemical composition of their fuels? Or is it such information as closely guarded as The Colonel's 11 secret herbs and spices?
