6'0" 240 lbs. over weight old guy. It works pretty good for me.

The bike can do over 85 mph with no problems and still get 59 mpg. I have had my Ninja 250 for a year now and I think it is a fun bike. Last Saturday I was riding for three hours on the Interstate and about two hours of riding on country roads. I typically take a break after an hour or two to straighten out my legs. What ever bike you are considering, I recommend that you at least sit on it and see how it feels. The Ninja has a more up right sitting position in comparison to most other sport bikes; however, like other sport bikes the legs are in a jocky position which is a bit cramped for me. Most bikes built now, except dirt bikes, are made with fairly low seat heights unlike the standards I used to own and this takes some getting used to.

I like the Ninja since it is faster than most cars on the road and parts are easy to get. I started riding in the late 60's. The biggest bike I have owned was a 350cc two-cycle twin so that is why I bought the Ninja since I like that size bike.
