those limits are way too low

I'd recommend at least 50/100/50 liability coverage.

This will help explain the different types of insurance: http://www.statefarm.com/insurance/auto_insurance/ins_auto_type.asp

Your quotes don't include comprehensive (which is what covers theft, vandalism, etc.).

I would recommend uninsured motorist on at least one vehicle. I have 50/100 on my wife's SUV and it covers to my truck and 4 motorcycles with no additional cost. It is $75.86 every six months.

State Farm gives a 5% discount for MSF. Most insurers will give you 5-10% off.

Here's my 250 insurance breakdown for liability and comprehensive (I don't carry collision on it):

Bodily Injury/Property Damage Liability
Limits of Liability-Coverage A-Bodily Injury
Each Person, Each Accident
$250,000 $500,000
Limits of Liability-Coverage A-Property Damage
Each Accident $100,000
$10.61

Comprehensive
$250 Deductible Comprehensive
$12.65

Total Premium For Vehicle 1 $23.26
The total premiums include your discounts.
