I would like to share a short story with you.
I live in Bowling Green KY. Western KY University is here.
About two months ago, it was a nice sunny day. The students were all walking from class to class. Everything was wonderful. A guy on a sport bike is riding down the 4 lane past the parking towers towards the football field. He feels some kind of need to show off his wheelie skills for the pretty girls. He comes off the back of the bike. He is a little hurt no big deal, no gear, no helmet, rashed and bruised but OK.
Now the rest of the story. You know that 500 lb motorcycle? Guess what, it is designed to stand up all by itself and keep moving until it is acted on by a outside force. Your probley wondering what that force was right?
Well it was a little 19 year old girl walking down the side walk. She was life flighted out. Her life will never be the same.
I don't know you, and I am going to do my best not to say any more rude things to stunters on here.
Don't do it on the street, its not fair to the other people out living their lives, minding their own business.
Next time you are thinking about a wheelie, think about some little girl lying the the G.D. street bleeding waiting for the helicopter to fly her out.
