Kind of a funny story - A Stunters 250

I was riding down Garden St. in Santa Barbara, California, on my way to the pier, to the Shellfish Co. for some shrimp tacos.

I check my mirrors, and I see what looks to be a 250 in my rear, but without fairings.

He gets right up on my rear right side as we come to a stop, and I glance at the bike, and give him a nod.

He trails me for a couple more blocks, till we get to a stop sign when there's no cars behind us. I turn and ask him "What year is that?"

"93" he replies. Then he says, "Check it out, I welded a cage around the engine, and put a footrest on the back. It's my stuntbike. Have you wheelied yours yet?"

"No" I say, "and I'm not really planning too either. I just started riding."

"Oh, watch this" he says.

As we start up again, he pops a very smooth wheelie, lands it, and then does it again. He gets all the way up, with what looks and sounds like minimal effort.

Anyway, long story short, I ran into him at pepboys, and he tells me about the local "Bike Night", how to wheelie, and that he has a Gixxer as his main bike.

This "crash cage" that he welded around the motor was hilarious. Just this industrial looking ugly welding.

Obviously it's his stunt bike, so I understand, but I've never seen that before.

Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Oh yeah, one more thing. I've always been curious about how different Muzzy's sound over stock pipes. Since I've never really had any experience with stock pipes on a bike, I only know what mine sounds like.

He said, "That's funny that there's a Muzzy on your bike. It sounds exactly like my friends SV650s. I was surprised to see it was a 250 when I pulled up.
