Agree 100% FuelCell. They tell you to read the faq yet it very ambiguous including just run it WFO
I have done more or less like you and just kept the rpm down but blip it once in awhile for a few seconds. I hit about 70 today riding with a friend (about 175 miles at the moment) for a few seconds. I think KAW is just conservative as my last 2 bikes (a CBR and a scooter) said no real break in needed just no full acceleration till X miles or something along those lines. I asked my dealer point blank about this and they said just don't redline it till after 500 fwiw. But because it's such a tiny engine I am going to lean towards the conservative side.
