fwiw - Scala sent me an e-mail saying the bluetooth issues reside

in the Garmin Zumo 550 and not their headset. Scala told me to contact Garmin to report the problems with the disconnections after hanging up calls.

Edit: I updated the Zumo 550 to version 3.3 which is supposed to fix the bluetooth problems with the phone. I'll provide an update after testing if anyone wants one.
