What are you doing on Sat or Sunday? Tomorrow morning I'm going to replace the ignition coils on the rally bike and do some carb work. On Sunday I'll be showing a guy how to take the motorcycle test at the DMV.
If you must take your bike to a dealer, the three choices for Kawasaki service in Northern Virginia are 1) MFI in Wood bridge, Shane runs the service dept and Mark is the owner, good people, reasonable prices. 2) Crossroads cycle in Bailey's Crossroads, I don't know these guys, but have heard lots of good things about them and 3) FastLane, Rick's prices are higher than the others, but if you're working on a race bike, he's the guy to take it to. He's the guy I go to for performance stuff.
I live in Dale City, bring it down either day with two quarts of oil and a filter (I don't have any extra filters right now) I'll show you how to change the oil and check the valves. If you have a choice, don't fill up with fuel, it's easier to remove the tank when it weighs less.
