My recommendation on the replacement of track-used tires...

replace at the FIRST sign that they feel odd on the street. There will still be some tread left, but do the right thing and get new tires. Trust me on that one. Ignore that little voice in your head that tells you "There's plenty of tread left, I can use them for a couple more weeks.". That little voice can very well cost you significatly more due to a crash. I'm sort of assuming that you will be having a few spirited street rides and not just commuting. If your commute is quite mild, you can go longer.

The blue'ing definitely indicates some high temps have been on the tires which definitely results in harder tires.

Again, when the bike starts handling a bit odd, replace the tires. Smile
