Sport demons, but those were on my blue 250.

That set had 2 track days but were absolutely ABUSED the second track day because the poor little thing was pulling double duty. One guy would come in at the end of his session and pass off to another bud of mine who would promptly go straight back out on the track.

That was the bike the BrianM rode when he came to visit. We rode pretty spirited and he never once complained about the tires. Matter of fact, he never complained after I found him sitting at the local Wal Mart, but I digress.

Sadly enough, I sold the bike before having to replace the tires, but never really had any issues with the handling (so I never replaced the tires).

On the Bandit, I ran Avon's (45/46). They blue'd up very quickly and went away quickly (about two months, probably less than 2K miles). They gave me lots of notice that all wasn't well with them, but I ignored the signs because I had a track day coming up and wished to get the most out of those tires before putting on some new tires for the track. Threw it down 5 days before the track day, so I took the Ninja instead.

Ever since then, I'll run 3 track days on a set of tires and no more. If I use a set for only 2 days, I'll put those tires on my Bandit until they start giving hints of unhappiness. New tires at that time. Smile
