Just my $.02. I have an HJC-12 and an Aria Signat. I live the creature features of the Aria, but hated the price. The HJC was a good first and backup helmet, but it just doesn't fit me as well as the Aria. Plus the Aria is a lot lighter. The next helmet I buy will be based on fit, weight, vents, etc. Not so much wind noise. I agree with others that ear plugs are the way to get around this.
just go to your local dealer and wear the helmet around the store while you look around. I did this with my Aria (wish I did it with the HJC) before I bought it. Deal with them and see if you can get the helmet for close to what you can get it on line for with shipping. Make sure you tell them up front if they can't come close to the on line price, you can't justify spending the extra $$.
