Sorry, but this is not a remark anyone can make EVER! You are not invincible, you cannot see the future, and you are not in ABSOLUTE control. No one is. By best friend said these exact things when he told me he was getting a motorcycle. Luckily he went with the 250. I will preface this by saying that the kid is an amazing athlete and can do almost anything he wants within days of being introduced to a sport. Yet even on the 250 he has been on his back once already, and gone over the handle bars once. Both times were his fault: a little too much throttle on slick pavement, and taking a corner wide into dirt. You are not in control and having the illusion that you are is not only naive but dangerous. Ever hear the word hubris?

Your decision to ride an R6 is yours and yours alone, and you know what, some people can have one as a starter bike. But please come back down to earth and understand that you will make mistakes,hopefully they will be small ones and not fatal. Either way, I repeat: YOU ARE HUMAN, YOU WILL MAKE MISTAKES.
