Head lights upgrade        

Just thought I would start a new thread . New beginnings you know?
The head lights for the new 2008 ninja are H7 Both HI and low bulbs are the same . there is no tools requires to remove the bulbs. Just reach under the front and feel around . The plug is a square plastic in the center of the rubber seal. CAREFULLY pull the plug first. They can stick so don't rock it too much and definitely don't twist it . Then pull off the rubber seal . There is a fragile clip holding the bulb in the socket . push in and move it up and the bulb should come loose. To reinstall the new bulb . First get some surgical gloves .Oil from your skin will cause the hot bulb to crack in a short time so don't touch the bulb with your fingers. Put the bulb in the socket . it has a tab so look through the headlight lens and carefully rotate the bulb till it sits in the socket flush and hold it there. Don't let it rock around . Little chrome dust from the edge of the reflector will get loose and look bad . Once the bulb is in place swing the wire back in place and clip it down. The rubber seal goes on next and should go around the bulb and around the case for the headlight.don"t leave it out or you will have water and dirt in your headlight. then I put a small bit of contact grease called dielectric grease in the plug to insulate the connections from road salt.
I switched to Sulvania Silverstar bulbs # H7ST they make the stock bulbs look yellow in comparison. I took pictures but they did not turn out.
