Nope, you're incorrect.
JET fuel is similar to kerosene, actually its paraffin oil, or a naphtha-kerosene blend. Jet A and Jet B respectively.
Aviation gasoline is a high octane gasoline.
They're two very different things. One is for jet engines and turbines, the other for piston engines and rotary engines.
