rear spools installation - size 10mm

I finally received my rear spools for the '08 250. I bought some brushed aluminum ones in size 10mm, brand is Vortex.

The primary purpose of spools is to provide a point to lift the rear of the cycle with a stand. A secondary purpose, for some, is a crash point to help protect the swingarm (a moot point on the exhaust side).

Installation requires only two tools, an 8mm hex wrench and some blue threadlocker:

Here are the spools and 10mm thread hex bolts, out of the package:

the hex bolt dabbed with a small amount of threadlocker:

I torqued the 10mm hex bolt to about 40 ft/lbs (Hickman arm torquing). Total install time is less than ten minutes. I spent more time taking pictures than the actual install.
